Has your business got a promotion coming up that you want a website built for? Maybe you have a part of your business you want to promote.
These types of projects are known as a micro-site. Micro-sites are essentially static websites that cannot be edited and are online for a very specific purpose as opposed to simply being a website about your company and services.
What would I use a micro-site for?
If your company is running a competition for example, you may decide to create a website that is specifically relating to this competition. For this type of setup you would include links and advertising on your main website to direct the customers to the micro-site.
The micro-site would then contain all of the information relating to that competition and can be styled using the same design as the artwork for the competition, which may be very different ot the normal company design.
But we don't run competitions, how else could I use this?
Even if your business isn't the type of business that runs promotions or competitions, you may still have a use for a micro-site.
