Does the LCD screen on your iPad have strange colour running or solid lines going across the screen?
The LCD screen in the iPad is actually a separate piece to the touch screen and although your touch screen glass might be fine, from time to time issues can arise with the LCD screen.
When the LCD does get a crack or start to have pixels die, it will often have a rainbow like effect on the screen, a solid blue or green line going across the entire screen or simply turn the pixel black.
If this sounds like something your iPad is doing, don't get used to it, get it fixed.
So don't believe the rumours that the iPad is too small or too thin to be repaired. It can and it is cheaper than you might think.
